Quitting job is challenging, I know because I have been there and done that. People who always motivate you to leave your jobs and start business and begin earning millions of dollars from tomorrow, trust me they are lying. In this blog I will share with you when to quit job.
Never ever quit your job until;
- Your side income is more than earned income
- You have enough funds for 6 months expenses
- When you can make your side hustle the main business
- When you are sure that you can work more than 12+ hours a day
- You are motivated to to achieve your goals.
Your side income is more than earned income:
I have written another blog which covers side hustle apart from your 9-5 job. If you are earning more from your side hustle than you earn from job, then quit job else keep feeding your time and efforts to your side hustle so that it grows rapidly and you get rid of your job.
You have enough funds for 6 months expenses:
Never leave your job if you do not have enough savings which can take care of your expenses for at least 6 months. When you save enough that you can go without having a job then think about leaving the current job and it’s benefits.
When you can make your side hustle the main business
Now you earn enough that you can make your side business the main business then say good bye to your job and shift your complete focus on your business.
When you are sure that you can work more than 12+ hours a day
If you think that you can work few hours a day and your business will run then you are wrong my friend. Business gives you more without a doubt but it takes lot more at the beginning, if you are not ready to work 12-16 hours a day then you should not leave your current job and stick to it until you decide that you can work more than 12+ hours a day.
You are motivated to to achieve your goals.
Clear your goals what exactly you want to achieve from your business and when you are ready, desciplined and determined to achieve your business goals then say tata to your job.
